Writing A Book Proposal

Here is an excellent link for research to do before writing a book proposal.

An Eyeball in My Garden

Eyeball

A group of us submitted our poems to Marshall Cavendish a few years ago and our collection was accepted and published. Now the paperback version has just come out. We all received a set sum so will receive no further income from our book, but it is nice to see that the publishing company was pleased with the hard back and now is publishing more.

I know several authors who write for Science News for Students. I have not written for this publication, but it looks like an excellent online publication.

Shine Brightly magazine for girls

I have not written for this magazine, but I have friends who’ve been published in it. If you like to write Christian messages for girls, check it out.

Due to life’s circumstances I haven’t posted as much as I should, but that is hopefully changing. Please visit my blog often as I bring information to children’s writers. This is my passion in life.

Spaceports and Spidersilk

I had not heard of this publication before but it looks interesting. If you are new to children’s magazine markets, it might be worth checking out.

I am regularly published in Hopscotch for Girls and have an article and photographs in this issue. If you write for the Bluffton Group, include high quality resolution photos if you are also a photographer, for articles and projects.
